갤러리LVS에서 올 해 마지막 전시로 유리 공예가 전형준의 개인전을 개최한다. 본 전시는 KCDF 아티스트 디스커버리 프로젝트의 일환으로 기획되었다.

유리 공예가 전형준은 2021년 공예트렌드페어를 통해 발굴된 작가로 지난해 청주국제공예공모전 입선 수상 및 KCDF 스타상품개발 작가로 선정되어 활발히 활동 중인 신진작가다. 베네치안 글라스 블로잉 기법을 정석적으로 연구하여 기반을 다졌고 레이스, 지그재그, 레티첼로 등 다양한 패턴 연구를 결합하여 도회적이고 우아한 작품들을 만들어왔다. 높게 쌓아올려 만든 고블렛 글라스는 화려한 색채감으로 장식미가 돋보이며 재료를 쌓아 올리고 결합하는 과정으로 수직적이고 초월성을 내포한 유리를 표현했다. 전형준 작가는 본 전시에서 새롭게 선보이는 신작으로 미래 공상 과학에서 영감을 받아 구성된 유리 세계를 표현하고자 한다. 유연하고 섬세한 곡선 형태의 오브제와 축광 물질로 새로운 유리 물성을 구현하여 환상적인 미래 세계를 전망하는 느낌을 준다.
 
 
Gallery LVS is holding a solo exhibition by Jeon Hyungjun, a glass artist as the last exhibition of this year. This exhibition was planned as part of the KCDF Artist Discovery Project. Jeon Hyungjun is an artist discovered through the Craft Trend Fair Seoul 2021. His work was accepted for the Cheongju International Craft Competition last year and was selected as one of the 20 Star Product Competitions by Korea Craft and Design Foundation(KCDF). He studied the Venetian glass-blowing technique in a standard way and created urban and elegant works by combining research on various patterns such as lace, zigzag, and reticello. The goblet glass, which is made by building high, stands out for its decorative beauty with splendid colors, and expresses vertical and transcendental glass through the process of building and combining materials. His new work, shown for the first time in this exhibition, seeks to express a world of glass inspired by futuristic science fiction. Flexible and delicate curved objects and luminous materials realize new glass properties, giving the feeling of looking into a fantastic future world.
